I AM WATER is a Muizenberg-based non-profit founded by freediving record holder Hanli Prinsloo in 2010. We connect children from under-resourced coastal communities with the ocean through powerful educational and ocean experiences. Many of the young people we work with live close to the sea but have never explored the world beneath the waves. By opening their eyes to the beauty of the ocean, we inspire a lifelong love for the sea and empower the next generation to protect it. Through our pillars of Experience, Awareness, and Advocacy, we're helping grow a generation of young ocean guardians.
